Since the inception in 2014, the Shanghai Derivatives Market Forum (SDMF) has been held for 11 years. On May 28th to 29th, 2015, the Shanghai Futures Exchange, together with Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange, Dalian Commodity Exchange, and China Financial Futures Exchange, under support of China Futures Market Monitoring Center and China Futures Association, will host the 12th SDMF in Shanghai, China.
Theme for the 12th SDMF is Futures Markets’ Development and Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiatives.
In recent years, the Belt and Road Initiatives (BRI) pronounced by the Chinese Government with a view to strengthening regional cooperation and boosting regional economies, has attracted a wide international attention. Futures and derivatives market is closely integrated with the growth of the real economy.
What will BRI bring to us? What shall we do for it? The 12th SDMF will widely invite thinkers and doers from the government, the industry as well as market representatives from the countries or regions along the Belt and Road, to express views and share thoughts and to map out for the prospective development and cooperation of the futures and derivatives market under the BRI.
